The Everun Note is all keyboard and screen, with no wasted space. The concept is not new -- we recall the Toshiba Libretto with fondness, as many early mobile computing enthusiasts do. To us, this Everun Note is like a modern-day Libretto-inspired mobile device with specifications that dwarf the original.
The wide 1024x600 7" touchscreen display has 4-mode rotation for ease of use in any circumstance. At your desk, plug in an external monitor for dual-monitor support at an impressive 1920x1200 resolution! Touchscreen navigation is complemented by an optical nub. (Simply move your finger over the optical eye and the pointer moves around the screen.)
Given that the computer can fit in a purse, we think the 16mm (85% regular size) keyboard is commendable. And there is plenty of power with the AMD Turon 64x2 Dual Core 1.2GHz processor. Expect 3.5 hours of run time with the extended battery.
