How much are delivery costs to my destination?
We ship directly to you from our Chicago office. For most computer systems, FedEx Home Delivery within the contiguous United States is about $12 plus insurance. FedEx International Priority delivery to Europe is about €39 plus insurance, and to the UK is about £35.
For an accurate quotation, simply begin the checkout process and the shipping charge will appear on screen as soon as you select your region.
Does the quoted pricing include VAT/duties?
For customers outside of the United States only: Prices on our website do NOT include VAT. This charge will be collected by FedEx upon delivery of your parcel. The amount of VAT varies by country.
What payment methods do you accept?
Customers in the United States or Canada can pay by any major credit card, subject to approval. Government, university, institution, or Fortune 500 companies may also pay by purchase order.
Customers outside of the United States or Canada can pay by American Express, bank transfer, or PayPal. Government, university, institution, or Fortune 500 companies may also pay by purchase order.
When will my order be processed and what is "pending approval"?
Dynamism processes orders from 10am to 7pm Eastern time (GMT – 500) Monday through Friday. Item availability could change depending on when your order is processed and approved.
The default status on all new orders is "pending approval".If you paid by credit card, it is now "pending approval" verification from our accounting department.
Generally, credit cards are charged when the order is shipping. You may cancel your order at any time prior to shipment with no penalty.
Please note: For Special Event Promotions (eg., Viliv series Pre-order events) or other circumstances when an extremely large volume of products will be charged and shipped in a short timeframe, a 100% deposit is charged as soon as the order is placed and approved. (Out of pattern spending and address verification problems are the major cause of delay for orders, and we will use this time to resolve any issues and help ensure on-time shipment.) Even in these cases, you may cancel your order at any time prior to shipment with no penalty, and the entire deposit will be refunded to your card.
What if an item is out of stock?
Order processing lead time is the length of time it will take to procure the correct products and complete payment processing. Order processing lead times are in business days (Monday through Friday). Shipping on an item that has a “Usually ships in 7-10 days” lead time will result in an estimated shipment by the 10th day from when your order is placed. Selecting an item that is "in stock" will ship the same day (subject to approval).
Please note: All scheduled shipment dates are estimates only. Dynamism will make every effort to ship your products by the estimated shipment date on your order confirmation but in no event will Dynamism be liable for any loss, nor damage or penalty resulting from any delay in shipment or delivery. Dynamism will attempt notify you by email of any changes in the estimated shipment date for your order. Except where otherwise noted (usually as “special order”), you may cancel your order at any time prior to shipment with no penalty.
How can I check the status of my order?
If there are any issues in processing your order, our accounting office will contact you directly by e-mail. To ensure fastest processing, we strongly encourage you to use a work or school e-mail address instead of a free webmail address.
Because will notify you of any issues by e-mail, please ensure that your e-mail address is entered correctly and checked frequently, and please scan the spam box frequently to ensure no messages are missed. Once your item has shipped, we will send an e-mail notification with the FedEx tracking details.
Can I add, change, or remove items from my order after it has been submitted?
Once an order is submitted it can only be amended or edited by contacting Dynamism customer service. Once an item has been packed or shipped, the order cannot be changed.
In most cases, except where otherwise noted, orders can be changed or cancel prior to shipment with no penalty.

How do you enable wifi and Bluetooth?
By default, wifi and Bluetooth are both disabled. To enable them, launch the Viliv Manager from either the Start Menu or the Cube UI (My Group section). Click the On button next to the device you would like to enable.
How do you add programs to the Cube UI?
Click the icon in the lower left-hand side of the screen with a plus sign and 3 circles. Drag the application icon you would like to add to the sphere you want to use for that application. Click the Edit button to return to the Cube UI.
I’m having trouble connecting to wifi networks with my S5.
The recommended driver for the S5 is dated 4/25/07 (version 8.75.706.701). Windows update will attempt to update the wifi driver and could cause some inconsistent behavior when connecting wirelessly. If your driver has been updated, roll the driver back to this version to see if the problem persists. If you are unable to roll the driver back, contact us at support@dynamism.com and we’ll provide the driver to you.
How do you get the GPS working?
No GPS software is included, so please download your favorite. Generally popular is StreetDeck (www. Streetdeck.com). When running the setup for StreetDeck, leave the GPS port set to ‘Not Set’ or Disabled (if COM1 is selected, StreetDeck will not be able to find a satellite). Open StreetDeck and stand outside with a clear view of the sky for 10-20 minutes in order to get a GPS lock. For Streetdeck, the baud rate must be set to 9600 using the GPS Switch Utility. For Garmin Mobile PC and Microsoft Streets and Trips, the baud rate needs to be set to 4800. GPS Switch will fail if a GPS utility or navigation software is attempting to access the GPS.
How do you access the BIOS?
When the machine is powered off, slide the power button to initiate the boot process. When the Viliv BIOS splash screen is displayed, press the Menu button (just under the jog dial).
How do you perform a system restore?
When the machine is powered off, slide the power button to initiate the boot process. When the Viliv BIOS splash screen is displayed, press the jog dial button. On the American Megatrends screen, press the jog dial down once to select AMI Rescue and press the OK button. On the AMI Rescue Lite Wizard screen, press OK to select Restore OS. On the confirmation screen, press OK to select Y (which confirms your selection to restore the OS). The restore process takes approximately 10-15 minutes and will erase all data on your machine.
How do I connect a Bluetooth headset to my S5 so I can listen to the sound through my headset?
In order to enable to sound from the Viliv to play on your Bluetooth headset, follow the steps below.
1. Open My Bluetooth Places (shortcut on the desktop)
2. Set the Bluetooth headset to discover mode
3. Double-Click Search Devices
4. Once the device is discovered, right-click on it (highlight the icon for the headset using the touchscreen, then click the C button to bring up the right-click menu) and click Pair
5. After the device is successfully paired, double click on it to open the services that are available on the headset.
6. If the headset is capable of receiving sound from a Windows-based computer, you should see the service ‘Bluetooth Headset and Microphone’. Right-click it and select Connect
7. This should install the services necessary to transmit sound to the headset and the sound should automatically be directed to the headset
How do I configure the S5/X70 to connect to my cellular network using the internal modem?
To connect to AT&T
1. Remove battery and insert SIM (make sure that it locks into place)
2. Boot into windows and launch Mobile Partner
3. Click Tools -> Options
4. Select Profile Management and click the New button
5. In the APN section, select Static and fill in WAP.CINGULAR (all caps)
6. In the Authentication section
a. Access Number: *99#
b. User Name: WAP@CINGULARGPRS.COM
c. Password: CINGULAR1
7. Click the Save button and click OK to return to the main Mobile Partner Window
8. Click Connect
To connect to T-Mobile:
1. Remove battery and insert SIM (make sure that it locks into place)
2. Boot into windows and launch Mobile Partner
3. Click Tools -> Options
4. Select Profile Management and click the New button
5. In the APN section, select Static and fill in wap.voicestream.com
6. In the Authentication section
a. Access Number: *99#
b. User Name: *leave blank*
c. Password: *leave blank*
7. Click the Save button and click OK to return to the main Mobile Partner Window

Can I format the HD on my S5/X70 to NTFS?
It is a known issue with Windows XP that formatting a solid state drive as NTFS can cause the hard drive to randomly lock up. So, it is not recommended if you are planning on running Windows XP. If you are planning to upgrade the OS to Windows Vista or Windows 7, formatting the drive to NTFS should not cause any problems.
How can I play 720p or 1080p video on the X70/S5?
Both the X70 and S5 use the Intel Z520 processor which requires hardware acceleration in order to play 720p and 1080p video. Viliv has designed the Viliv Player and licensed the coded to play 720p video in the MKV format without any additional configuration. If you wish to play files in other formats that do not work with hardware acceleration, a 3rd party media player is required. If you are a skillful user and do not mind changing a few settings, KMPlayer can be configured to play most video formats in 720p or 1080p. How do I connect the S5 to a PC for file transfer?
ON THE S5
- Open the Network Connections
- Right-click on the Local Area Connection (Intel USB Client Ethernet Device)
- Open the TCP/IP Properties
- Set the IP address to 192.168.33.151
- Set the subnet mask to 255.255.255.0
- Click OK to close the TCP/IP Properties
- Click OK to close the Local Area Connection properties
CONNECT THE S5 TO YOUR COMPUTER USING A USB TO MINI USB CABLE
ON YOUR PC
- You should be prompted to Launch Intel USBC Host Installer
- Click OK
- On the Wizard click Next
- The wizard WILL FAIL but before doing this step the Intel USB Client Remote NDIS device will not appear in Network connections so this step is necessary
- Click Finish to close the wizard
- Open Network connections
- Right-click the properties for Intel USB Client Remote NDIS device
- Open TCP/IP Properties and set the IP address to 192.168.33.152
- Set the Subnet Mask to 255.255.255.0
- Click OK to close the TCP/IP Properties
- Click OK to close the Local Area Connection properties
*the IP addresses don’t have to match these settings but they have to be in the same subnet for the computers to see each other*
