The BOFA 3D PrintPRO 3 incorporates externally mounted plenum system manifolds, which effectively captures fumes generated during the printing process and returns ultra clean, filtered air to the operator’s breathing zone.
It has the benefits of low cost, low power consumption, and integrated speed control that can be adjusted depending on the size of the printer. By using inlet and exhaust hoses in combination with an enclosure, a controlled climate can be achieved inside the printer which will benefit overall print quality. Each filtration unit is supplied with connection hoses and ‘print your own’ manifold instructions. An additional recommended enclosure is available for Ultimaker 3D printer models, which increases the effectiveness of fume extraction while also providing a more stable printing environment.
