The PTFE tube helps guide the filament smoothly and reduce resistance during printing. It has an inner diameter of 2.5mm and an outer diameter of 4mm.

Required to dry filament in more than one AMS 2 Pro at the same time.

When using an AMS 2 Pro with an X1, P1, or A1 series printer and taking advantage of its drying function, each AMS 2 Pro must be powered by its own Switching Adapter.

The Bambu Lab Filament Buffer is an add-on that works with a single AMS unit to help manage the flow of filament. It connects using a 4-pin cable with a 3mm pitch and snap-in terminal on the input side, and a 6-pin cable with a 3mm pitch and open snap-in terminal on the output side.

Please Note: 

• AMS 2 Pro compatibility with A1/A1 mini printers will be added through an OTA update in October 2025.
• The AMS 2 Pro is compatible with X1/P1 series printers with extra accessories needed.
• For X1/P1 owners, If only using the automatic filament feeding function, only the 6-pin bus cable, 4-pin bus cable, Filament Buffer/AMS Hub, PTFE Tube and PTFE Tube Coupler are required, and no external power adapter is needed. If you need to use the drying function, an external power adapter is required for the AMS 2 Pro. Please use the official Bambu Lab power adapter. 
• For H2D owners, your H2D can power anyone of the AMS 2 Pro(s) connected for drying, so if you're not planning to run multiple AMS 2 Pro for drying simultaneously, you won't be needing an adapter.
• For X1E owners, the AMS 2 Pro drying feature is currently under testing and not yet supported.
