Polyetherketoneketone (Amorphous) — High-Performance FFF Filament by Tectonic3D
When your application demands flame compliance, chemical resistance, and structural integrity under sustained heat — standard engineering polymers stop short. Vulcan PEKK-A is built for the parts that can't afford to fail: aerospace interiors, energy equipment, and structural components where UL94 V0 at 0.8 mm isn't a bonus — it's a baseline requirement.

Achieves UL94 V0 at just 0.8 mm — the thinnest classification threshold in its class. Compliant with FAR 25.853 and EN45545 R1 HL2, with low smoke and low toxicity. Built for aerospace and rail environments where certification isn't optional.

The amorphous PEKK-A grade's slow crystallisation rate produces superior interlayer adhesion versus semi-crystalline PEEK alternatives. Parts printed upright (ZX) reach 86 MPa tensile strength at break — a practical result for load-bearing geometries in any orientation.

Glass transition at 158 °C. Heat deflection under 1.80 MPa load at 139 °C. Structural stability where standard high-performance polymers begin to soften.

PEKK-A's high flow and slow crystallisation make it one of the most printable PAEK-family materials in FDM. Available in both 1.75 mm and 2.85 mm — including 2.85 mm for Ultimaker Factor 4.
