The Modix MAMA-1000 is a professional large-format 3D printer that combines pellet (FGF) and filament (FFF) extrusion in a single machine with a full 1,000 ~ 1,000 ~ 1,000 mm build volume.

Most large-format printers require filament, an expensive, processed intermediate form of plastic. The MAMA-1000 feeds directly from raw plastic granules, the same feedstock used in injection molding and polymer manufacturing.

dramatically lower material costs, access to a wider range of industrial polymers, and the ability to print with recycled or filled compounds (carbon fiber, wood, mineral-filled) that are rarely available in filament form.
